Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Definitions

  • "RNIG e.V." (also "we", "us", "our") refers to Rhein Neckar Indische Gemeinde e.V., a registered non-profit association (eingetragener Verein) with its seat at Breslauer Str. 11, 68519 Viernheim, registered at Amtsgericht Mannheim under VR 704403.
  • "Platform" refers to the website and all associated services operated by RNIG e.V.
  • "User" (also "you", "your") refers to any person accessing or using the Platform.
  • "Ticket" refers to a digital, non-transferable admission pass for an event organised by RNIG e.V.
  • "Event" refers to any gathering, festival, or activity organised or hosted by RNIG e.V.

2. Scope and Acceptance

These terms govern your use of the Platform and any ticket or membership purchases made through it. By using the Platform or completing a purchase, you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

3. Account Creation

To purchase tickets, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities carried out under your account. You must notify us immediately at info@rnig-ev.org if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

4. Ticket Purchase

Tickets are available subject to availability. A binding purchase contract is formed once payment has been successfully processed and a confirmation email has been sent to your registered address. RNIG e.V. reserves the right to limit the number of tickets per user per event.

5. Prices and Payment

All prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) inclusive of any applicable taxes. Payment is processed via PayPal. The total price is displayed clearly before you confirm your purchase. RNIG e.V. reserves the right to adjust ticket prices at any time prior to purchase.

6. Ticket Delivery

Upon successful payment, your ticket is delivered electronically to your registered email address as a PDF attachment. Each ticket contains a unique QR code required for event admission. You are responsible for safeguarding your ticket. RNIG e.V. is not liable for loss or misuse of a ticket forwarded or disclosed to a third party.

7. Non-Transferability and No Resale

Tickets are strictly personal and non-transferable. They may not be resold, gifted, or otherwise transferred to another person. Admission may be refused if the name on the ticket does not match the attendee's identity document. RNIG e.V. reserves the right to void any ticket that has been transferred or resold in contravention of these terms.

8. No Refunds or Cancellations

All ticket sales are final. Tickets cannot be cancelled, exchanged, or refunded for any reason — including change of mind or inability to attend. As event tickets are leisure services tied to a specific date of performance, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply (§ 312g Abs. 2 Nr. 9 BGB). For full details, please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

9. Event Changes and Cancellation by RNIG e.V.

RNIG e.V. reserves the right to modify event details — including venue, date, time, or programme — without liability. In the event of a full cancellation by RNIG e.V., ticket holders will receive a full refund to their original payment method. Minor changes to the programme do not entitle ticket holders to a refund.

10. Conduct at Events

Ticket holders are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and lawful manner at all RNIG e.V. events. RNIG e.V. reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any person whose behaviour is deemed disruptive, offensive, or in breach of applicable law. No refund will be issued in such cases.

11. Liability

RNIG e.V. is liable for damages caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is limited to foreseeable, typically occurring damages, and only where essential contractual obligations have been breached. This limitation does not apply to damages arising from injury to life, body, or health, nor to claims under the Produkthaftungsgesetz.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of RNIG e.V. or its licensors and is protected under applicable copyright law. Unauthorised reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction for disputes with merchants, legal entities under public law, or special funds under public law is Mannheim. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the applicable law are not affected.

14. Online Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. RNIG e.V. is not obligated and not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

15. Amendments

RNIG e.V. reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Platform after the publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
